A Delicious Way to Raise Funds: Jamba Juice on Atlantic Avenue

Got a thirst for new fundraising ideas?

Jamba Juice can help. Our local Jamba Juice at the corner of Atlantic and Carson has a new way to help schools and community organizations raise money. Called “Sip to Support”, it gives back 10% to participating organizations whenever supporters swipe their cards. The more supporters you have, the more money you get.

Now, this is my kind of fundraiser. No magazines or candy to buy. No knocking on doors or setting up stands. We just do what we do normally: Enjoy Jamba Juice.

I admit that my reasons for visiting Jamba Juice are completely hedonistic: I love the taste. Others are attracted to the healthy ingredients. How nice that they can guzzle their wheatgrass juice while I sip my smoothie.

You could stop by after school and have something cool and packed with berries. When strolling Atlantic on a First Friday evening, you could pop in and have a delicious coffee-and-frozen yogurt concoction. Stop by after church, grab a beverage and head to the Sunday Farmer’s Market at Bixby and California. You could even visit for breakfast—Jamba Juice has oatmeal, too.

So if you’re trying to raise money for your school or community organization, visit jambajuice.com and find out how the program works. Then visit the real Jamba Juice at Atlantic and Carson and start sampling and swiping. Every time you do, your organization gets 10% of your purchase.
